Oriented individual. Many meteorites of this fall are oriented, which means that the particular meteoroid maintained the same attitude during flight and did not tumble or roll. Close examination of oriented meteorites will often show "roll-over lips" and flow lines.
These two images are of the front and back of the same meteorite. The front face (top) was ablated more during it's fiery travel through the earth's atmosphere and material melted and flowed giving it the appearance of melted wax. The lower image shows the rear or the meteorite which retains much of its rough, sharp texture.
